Two Women Caught With Mucho Meth Tabs
On Wednesday night, a checkpoint was placed by the Khao Talo Police Sub-station under the supervision of Banglamung Police Deputy Suppressing Inspector Pol. Capt. Latipoen Rod-ngern on the Railway Bypass road next to Soi Chaiyapreuk 2. During the operation, a red-black Honda Wave motorcycle ridden by 2 women was spotted trying to change direction, but then deciding to drive through the checkpoint without stopping for the routine examination.
The police immediately started chasing them, and finally stopped Miss Karnda Gaew-u-don, aged 20 and Miss Walunee Maneewaan, both local residents. 390 Meth-amphetamine or Yah Baa tablets were found underneath the bike’s seat, and the gals claimed to know nothing about the drugs, had only borrowed the motorcycle from their friend to go to the store, and tried to drive away because they did not have helmets. Further inquiries will be made, as their behavior really did not support their claims.
