FEI World Jumping Challenge at Horseshoe Point The 2008 FEI World Jumping Challenge and Horseshoe Point Invitational event took place on 21st to 23rd March at Horseshoe Point Resort, Pattaya.
The show jumping competition organized by the Thailand Equestrian Federation and the International Riding School at Horseshoe Point was held using the strict international rules and regulations of the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI). There were a number of events held throughout the 3 days. After the opening ceremony presided over by Horseshoe Point owner and chairman, Mr. Chaikiri Srifuengfung, the events opened with 20 entries for the Class 3 Newbies Show Jumping Open. Then on Saturday, 22nd the main FEI World Jumping Champion events took place, for both Category A and B riders. This was followed by the Horseshoe Point Invitational Show Jumping split into different classes, including a Kids Affair Pony Challenge with 19 young riders performing for a trophy and ribbon. The event was a great success and everyone looks forward to the next year’s competition to be held at Horseshoe Point. News stories placed on this website are short versions.
