Lady Found in Condo

British Woman Found Dead

Another foreign national has been found dead in Pattaya.  On the morning of the 7^th May, Pattaya Police were notified that the body of an elderly lady had been discovered in her condo. 

Together with the Sawang Boriboon, they went to the Niran Grand Condo in South Pattaya to find Mrs. Barbara Fordham from England sitting slumped at the side of her bed, grasping hold of a telephone receiver.  There were no signs of any foul play and officers believe she had been dead for 5 hours before discovery.   Her neighbour stated that the lady had been living alone for some time at the condo and there was no one there to take care of her.  She was discovered by a friend who then contacted the police.  Mrs. Fordham’s body was taken away for an autopsy and the British Embassy has been notified.
