According to the company, the built-in battery of the latest Bluetrek Metal can support up to 5 hours in talk mode or more than 7 days in sleep mode. Thanks to the use of metal, ModeLabs engineers rose up to the challenge of making an ultra-thin, slick designed and firmly modern Bluetooth headset. The Bluetrek Metal is discreet thanks to its comfort and extremely light weight, and suits perfectly the current consumers expectations, said Henri Nicolas OLIVIER, CEO of ModeLabs Technologies. It proves once again the innovation ability of the group, both with the used materials and the design and technologies it was able to conjure. The new Bluetrek Metal Bluetooth headset that available in aluminium black+silver and silver stainless steel version will be commercially available in Europe and Asia soon for 39 euros and 49 euros, respectively. Asus Announces New Range Of Eee PC The well-known Taiwanbased company, Asus has announced its new range of Eee PC, including 8.9-inch Eee PC 901, 10-inch Eee PC 1000 (Linux OS) and Eee PC 1000H, utilizing the built-in shockproof SSD (Solid State Drive) technology, which allows users to enjoy stable and reliable computing on-the-go. This new range of Eee PC will incorporate Intels 1.6GHz Atom CPU and built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam with high speed wireless Internet connection capabilities. According to Asus, The new Eee PCs are also equipped an expanded battery that provides up to 7.8 hours of battery life; while the exclusive Super Hybrid Engine technology provides three GUI modes to easily adjust CPU frequency, voltage, and LCD brightness to minimize system noise and power consumption to save up to 15% power consumption, or to maximize system performance according to individual needs. Whats more, the addition of exclusive 20GB Internet storage makes data backups simple and convenient. With constant innovations and implementation of the latest technologies in the new Eee PC range, we have since expanded the original 3 Es into Easy, Excellent and Exciting. Easy will still encompass the core value of Easy to learn, work and play, Excellent will highlight the Eee PCs role as an Excellent mobile Internet device and Exciting entails utilizing the Eee PC for Exciting multimedia enjoyment, said Jerry Shen, CEO of ASUS. The new Asus Eee PC 901 and Eee PC 1000/1000H are expected to be available soon, but no words on their prices yet.
