You Cant Be Serious

P.S.C. Golf from Cafe Kronborg Thursday, 10th July: Plutaluang (Stableford). This was not a great day it was not even a good day, in fact most people know my opinion of this Course and this day just confirmed it.
We played South and East and the only good thing is that the cows had been put to bed before we played. Major work is being carried out on the Course and at present it is a bit of a lottery where your ball ends. Good shots end up in holes, around the green it is a lottery and on the green the ball bounces all over. Of late I have reported that the Course is improving. Well, I was wrong on this day, let us all hope that all this work produces a Course that is worthy of the effort put in. The people running the Course remain friendly and the restaurant still provides excellent value. “You pay your money and you take your chance” or as I say to Dave when he books this Course “You can't be serious”. Still beauty is in the eye of the beholder, even if he may be blind. The winner of the A Flight, 0 to 17, was Bruce Lawrence with 36 points ahead of Bob Benda on 35 points and Derek Bailey on 33 points. The winner of the B Flight was Hugh O'Donnell with Per Olaf Baarli in second on 32 points and Patrick Poussier in third with 30 points. 001 Bruce Lawrence 003 Hugh O'Donnell Monday, 21 July: Treasure Hill (Stableford). The Treasure Hill Golf and Country Club was the Host to a Stableford Competition in one Flight under very hot and sunny conditions. Kris Helgasson took the Flight on countback from Hugh O'Donnell in second. In third was Kevin Dinan with 31 points and in fourth was Bill Plath with 30 points. The Course on the day was in very good shape with very fast greens. T.T.F.N.
