Bob’s has gained a reputation for his quality food, very large portions, and providing a dining experience which is as close as you’ll get to Texas, at least in Thailand.
 
Bob’s specializes in a unique old Texan method of BBQ preparation.  It is called Slow Smoked Texas BBQ which is different in every aspect from other BBQ methods where meat is either boiled or cooked quickly.  Bob’s method is a traditional slow smoked recipe that involves primarily marinating the meat and then using a dry seasoning rub.  The meat is then cooked slowly over a very low temperature for a long period of time to bring out the rich full flavoured taste.  The smoked meat is very tender yet remains juicy.

Since Bob hails from Houston, Texas, of course the Mexican dishes are made in the Tex-Mex style.  The menu includes a nice range, from great Jalapeno Poppers to Buritto with refried beans and rice, all made with Bob’s special recipes.  

Of course Bob’s is also famous for huge handmade Hamburgers made with Bob’s very own premium grind of 100 % Beef.  They bake their own Buns fresh in their bakery every day. The menu has 15 different varieties and three sizes of Burgers: the Silver Dollar at 115 grams, the Cattleman at 225 grams, and the Wagon Wheel at 700 grams.  

And then there’s the Big Bob’s Texas Belt Buster, which holds the Guinness World Record for the World’s largest commercial hamburger.  Bob’s officially set the record in July 2006 as part of a celebration for the King of Thailand’s 60^th year of accession to the throne. 

The hamburger weighs 78.5 pounds (35.6 kg), and beat the record previously held by Fuddruckers.  The giant hamburger is actually on Bob’s menu. If you would like to order one, please give Bob at least 12 hours notice - they make a great novelty item for a party!
