Woman Killed in Bike Accident

Police and Sawang Boriboon paramedics rushed to the scene of a fatal road accident on the morning of the 25^th October on a stretch of Sukhumvit Road in the Naklua area. 

There they found the body of a young woman, identity unknown, in the middle of the road.  She had been involved in a collision with a pickup truck whilst she was riding a motorcycle with two other women passengers, all not wearing helmets.   The truck driver, Mr. Ekachai told police that he was on his way to Bangkok when the bike with the three women suddenly cut across his path causing him to crash into them.  The other two women were in a serious condition and were taken to Banglamung hospital and later to Chonburi for emergency treatment.  A report was made and an investigation is now under way.
