It is not only helping out with human incidents that the Sawang Boriboon get involved in every day, because on the morning of the 19th June, Sawang Boriboon volunteers received a call that a young buffalo had been discovered trapped inside a drainage system in a local village and they needed assistance to rescue the creature. No task too small, volunteers were sent out to the Best View Village in Nongprue, in order to help out with their rescue equipment. At the scene they found the one year old buffalo exhausted and frightened as it was trapped inside the deep drain. They calmed the creature down and fed it then got about the task of recovering it from the ditch. It took them half an hour before the buffalo was on dry land and sent back into the fields to play.
