Takraw Pattaya Cup 2009

In an effort to help promote sport in Pattaya, support for the game of Takraw was given when another major competition was held at Pattaya School number 7 gymnasium from the 14^th to the 16^th August. Takraw is a very popular ball game especially in Thailand.  Therefore the 8^th Takraw Pattaya Cup 2009 was arranged to draw more interest from both Thai and foreign visitors.  The tournament with 119 teams playing was officially opened by Pattaya Mayor Ittipol Khunplome.
