Banglamung police were called to a scene in Soi Nernplubwan on the evening of the 18th August to investigate a domestic brawl. On arriving with the Sawang Boriboon, the skirmish was still in full throttle with neighbours trying to stop a group of Thai men in their 30s fighting each other. Already, there were 3 casualties lying on the ground with knife wounds; who were given immediate first aid treatment before being taken to hospital. An investigation began and it turned out that a certain lady, later identified as 24 year old Miss Ratsamee, was the wife of one of the men involved in the fighting. She claimed that she was not treated well by this man, Thanapat, and he often hit her, especially when he was drunk. She wished to leave him and called for her ex-husband to rescue her from her plight. Unfortunately, whilst packing her belongings, she and her ex, 36 year old Piriya were confronted by none other than Thanapat. Knives were drawn and all hell broke loose involving nearby neighbours. Police will wait for the characters to recover before going ahead with a full investigation.
