Man killed in highway accident Banglamung police received a report in the early hours of the 27th August that two vehicles had been involved in a collision on Highway 36 and one person had died. Together with Sawang Boriboon medics they rushed to the scene where they found a badly damaged Toyota Camry which had been involved in a collision with a 10 wheel truck. The body of the dead driver was trapped inside the car, later identified as 33 year old Mr. Worrawoot Jamjaroen. The driver of the truck, 44 year old Mr. Wilaisak Soodrum was in a state of shock but unhurt. He stated that he was heading towards Pattaya with a load of iron, when the Toyota came along at high speed and hit the rear of his truck. A report was made and an inquiry as to why the air bag in the car did not operate and possibly save the driver’s life. News stories placed on this website are short versions.
