In the early hours on Friday, 4th September the Pattaya narcotics suppression Police set up a sting to arrest a French national, Mr. Julien Vignerow, aged 21, for the possession of 3 bags of ICE, weighing 3.3 grams; he was also carrying 12,000 baht cash. He was apprehended at the Lion King beer bar, on Soi 6, off Pattaya Second Road. The officers revealed that they were tipped off about the Frenchman being a drug dealer, and selling drugs to foreign tourists at beer bars. The Police set up a sting operation to buy 2 grams of ICE from him for 6,000 Baht, and when Vignerow delivered the ICE in front of the Lion King beer bar, the officers arrested him. The Police also went to search his room and discovered more ICE (crystal meth) in a safety box. The offender pleaded guilty, and confessed that he had been arrested for narcotics before. But the offender would not give any information about his source for the drugs, and attempted to hide his face. From his confession, the Police also apprehended 4 members of his gang, and seized more drugs. All suspects are now facing their day in Court.
