Robbery the motive?

Just after midnight on Friday, Police along with the Sawang Boriboon Rescue team, were called to the Dennis Royal Inn, Soi VC, where a dead body had been discovered. The body was of a 42year woman, identified as Buaphan Prapuangphun, and found on the second floor where it had been badly mutilated. The police estimated that the body had been there for a few days and in a state of decay. The room had blood stains on the walls and a number of empty beer bottles littered the floor. No murder weapon was found. A friend of the deceased informed the police that the murdered woman had worked at the Fun Room a’ Go-go in Soi 15 and had not been at work for the last two days. She became suspicious and along with other friends went to visit their friend at her room. It was then that the body was discovered. Some valuables were missing from the room and suspicion has been pointed to the boyfriend of the deceased, by her friends. The police investigation continues.
