Drivers escape from head on crash

Both police and Sawang Boriboon medics were called to the scene of a nasty road accident on Sukhumvit Road during the afternoon of the 25^th October.   On arrival the team saw 5 damaged vehicles, including the main culprit vehicles, a Honda and Mitsubishi, both smashed up and in a terrible condition as a result of a head on crash.   All drivers and passengers were dazed but received minor injuries; they were given first aid and taken to the local hospital for a checkup.  It is not clear as to who is to blame, but it seems that the driver of the Mitsubishi might have fallen asleep and lost control of the car and smashed into the rear of the Honda which caused a domino effect as it hit a number of passing cars.  A report will be made after all concerned receive hospital treatment, and Mr. Thanakrit, the driver of the Mitsubishi, was taken into police custody for further questioning.
