At 1 AM on Saturday morning Pattaya police were advised that three guests at the Marine Yensabai Condo, South Pattaya were found by staff unconscious. The police arrived to find three tourists lying on their beds and despite efforts by the staff and the police, could not rouse them. Police discovered that the three men were brothers and from Oman and on holiday here.
After a while one of the brothers woke up in a hazy state but managed to identify himself as Zahran. Staff told police that the men had arrived with the driver who told them that they had fallen asleep in the car. He also said that there were two others who he had dropped off in central Pattaya. Evidently the brothers had met the other two men, who were from Monaco, and had shared a taxi from Bangkok.
On the journey to Pattaya they had stopped on the motorway and the two men from Morocco went to buy hamburgers, which on their return they all shared and that was the last thing the men remembered.
They arrived at the hotel in a dazed state and immediately retired to the rooms complaining of dizziness.
As they hadn't appeared for awhile staff became suspicious and went to check on them to find them all unconscious, and called for the police and assistance. Zahran, still in a dozy state told police that all valuables and money were missing. The three brothers were then sent to Banglamung hospital with two of the brothers still unconscious.
