Finals of Asian Windsurfing Championships

The finals of the Techno 293 Asian Windsurfing Championships were held on the 23^rd January at Jomtien Beach.  The international event had competitors from 9 countries including China, Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.  The teams were also competing to represent their countries in the upcoming Youth Olympic Games being held in Singapore during August. In the female Techno 293 category both Thailand and China passed through to the finals and in the male Techno 293 category, the Chinese and Hong Kong teams were chosen.
