Bar raided for serving teenagers

During the early hours of 27^th February, a team of officers from Pattaya Police Station, raided the Zee Bar on Pattaya Third Road.  The reason being was that police received information that the venue was selling alcohol to teenagers under the age of 18, and was also in breach of their legal business hours.  In total, 300 people were found inside the bar.  The lights were switched on and everyone was asked to cooperate by providing ID and a urine test.  Two women were found to be underage and one man proved positive for drug taking. The owner of the pub, Decha Thongnoy, aged 26, could not present the development license to Police. All were taken to police Station. Decha had been charged with opening the business without permission and the two young women were given a warning and their parents were contacted.
