Teenager claims he was bullied into theft

During the early hours of the 15th April, Pattaya Police received the company of a young man, brought in for being suspected of theft.  On being confronted by his victim, Miss Supatra, the teenager finally confessed to stealing her shoulder bag, but it wasn’t really his fault – he had just left the monkhood and got into the wrong company of friends.  One, he claimed, was a local police volunteer, who on pain of death forced him to do the deed.  Police didn’t believe the porkies, because on questioning locals in the Yensabai area where the incident occurred, they told officers that the young man was ‘a bad apple’, always loitering around the area, and constantly up to no good.
