On Wednesday afternoon, Mr Santi Klongnoy hosted a meeting to discuss cremation issues with the Committee of Cremation Services Department, members of City Hall and other guests. 

The meeting reviewed the amounts of money spent on funeral ceremonies in each community in Pattaya City, and nearby areas.

One of the main issues raised in the meeting was that some of the cremation service members are to be removed from the roster, according to a final vote from the annual meeting. The reason these members are no longer entitled to be part of the cremation service department, is that they have missed the funeral service payment ten times consecutively. The total of all the members is not known, but 320 people were taken off the list.  In addition, booklets were printed and given to the members, with information about its rules and regulations.
