On Tuesday evening, police received a report that two thieves snatched a handbag from a lady in the middle of Soi Yume, off Central Pattaya Rd.

Khun Katesuriyong Srisoda told the police that two men grabbed her handbag while she and her boyfriend rode their motorbike home. Her gallant boyfriend stepped on the gas to chase after the bandits, but the two offenders lost control of their motorbike, so they quickly abandoned it and ran away from the scene on foot, leaving the victim’s bag on the road.

The police have confiscated the thieves’ motorcycle so they can determine who is the registered owner of the bike.
