Public Health Center shows Pattaya residents how to protect themselves from AIDS
On Tuesday afternoon at the Health Center located on Soi Bua Khao, Mayor Ittipol Khunplume presided over a health seminar on sexually transmitted diseases organized by the Public Health and Environment Centre in Pattaya.
The seminar was designed to educate staff members as well as the general public on the dangers of STDs, especially AIDS. Color displays and posters illustrated the risk factors, basic medical treatment for STDs, and proper use of condoms.
The Health Center hopes entertainment venue staff and anyone working in the entertainment business here in Pattaya will learn how to guard themselves against these diseases with safe-sex practices and regular condom use. Above all, get yourself a blood test on a regular basis.
