At the AGM Annual General Meeting of Pattaya Sports Club a new president and executive committee was elected. Tony Oakes will as such lead the club as its president in the next 12 months. Other members of the PSC Executive committee are: Bobby Clark, Vice President, Max Mathews, Secretary, William
Macey, Charity Chairman, Joe Mooneyham, Golf Chairman, Bob Rasmussen, Public Relations Chairman, Bjarne Nielsen, Registrar and Nigel Cannon, Social Chairman. Graham Buckingham is likely to be appointed as Treasurer after the new executive committee.
Pattaya Sports Club is the biggest club in Pattaya with more than 30,000 members. The biggest sports activity is golf, but the club is also famous for its support to local charities, last year 2,7 million baht was donated to charities and nearly half a million baht was donated to sports promotion in Pattaya. The total revenue added up to more than 6 million baht.
The AGM took place at Town-in-Town hotel in central Pattaya and was attended by 79 elective members, 17 elective members had given their proxyvote in advance.
