Pattaya Memorial Hospital was called to help two injured people, a man and a girl, from a Jet Ski collision, who were now on the beach in front of Royal Garden Plaza Shopping Centre on Friday evening
The owner of the Jet Ski had seen the accident and rescued the girl from the water, while the man managed to swim ashore.
The couple (father and daughter) was both seriously injured.
The man started to lose consciousness once he reached the beach but they were soon rushed to the hospital.
The injured man, Mr. Uma Dhar Kesarwa, an Indian aged 46, later died at the hospital. His neck bone was broken according to a doctor
His 14-year-old daughter is still alive and her left hip is cracked and she had received wounds to her body.
A witness said the couple drove their jet ski at speed and crashed into another jet ski before both of them fell in to the sea.
