On Wednesday, Pattaya police officers led by Superintendant Police Colonel Nantawut Suwanla-ong announced the seizure a large quantity of illegal drugs.

Khun Maiyawat Parnchang aged 40 and thought to be the ringleader of the gang  was arrested with over  77. –grams YA ICE and 750 amphetamine tablets, 5,000-baht cash, a motorcycle and bank books plus 9,000-baht cash which the police used in a sting operation to buy crystal drugs from him. Five of his accomplices were arrested at the same time. All now face charges of drug dealing.
