Mrs. Supitra Chukiti wiboon, 27, who sells gift sets for the monks at Wat Chai Mongkon for over twenty years, said it was nearly Big Buddha Day and that a number of people went to buy her gift sets, but not so many as last year because of, perhaps, economic position on not the prices. Mrs. Supitra added that most people chose to buy a medium-size gift to monks for 150 baht.
