On the early Saturday morning, a Banglamung police officer reported that a victim had been shot on Chaipornwitee Road.

At the scene the injured victim, a 16 girl, was sent to Banglamung Hospital.

She had been wounded in her left arm. Fortunately the bullet had only grazed her.

According to witnesses, two young men driving a Honda motorcycle used a gun to rob the victim of cash and her motorcycle. Moreover, the two thieves followed the victim and shot at her before making off.

Initially, the police have been searching for the robbery culprits who were believed to be local teenagers who took advantage to rob vulnerable female victims at night.
