The 2010 Pattaya Superstar Bartender Contest got under way on Wednesday night at the Zign Hotel, Naklua Road.
The event was organized by The Hotel Association of the East Coast of Thailand, The Thailand Hotel Association, Chonburi Provincial Administration, Pattaya City Hall and The Tourism Authority of Thailand.
The goal was to promote and develop bartending skills of all bartenders in general and to promote tourism of Thailand.
Pattaya City Hall was represented by Mayor Ittipol Khunplume, who prior to the contest took to the stage, joining the dancers and giving a performance that even Fred Astaire would be proud of.
The contest was divided into 3 styles.
Fixed Style: the winner was Miss Patchree Noisaeng from Long Beach Garden Hotel and Spa – Naklua Road.
The Flair Bartender Contest won by the finalist with the most sparkling style, Mr. Ekachai Akradet-ruengsee from Montien Hotel Central Pattaya.
And the winner of the Miss Bartender Contest, was Miss Jureerat Baitongtaem, also from the Montien Hotel.
The winners will go to the Thailand Bartender Contest which will be held on Saturday, 18th September 2010 at Siam Paragon, Bangkok.
