On Monday afternoon, the team of Huay Yai Police held a Press Conference to publicize the arrest of a group of drug dealers with over 20,000 tablets of Yaba. The perpetrators a Mr. Somsak aged 28 from Huay Yai and Mr. Surasan were caught and police recovered 900 grams of Yah Ice and 20,000 tablets of Yabba as evidence. Police consider this to be a major arrest in the fight against drugs. Three drug users were also captured in the police operation.

The information had come from informers that Mr. Somsak has been one of the biggest agents in the area and a police patrol managed to arrest him with a small bag of Yah Ice.

The police interrogated the offender until he cooperated and he took the police to search his room where they found the 20,000 tablets of Yah Bah and 900 grams of Yah Ice in plastic bags.

At the same Press conference, the police also publicized the arrest of Mr. Suchard Saihin, age 34 who is a car thief and confidence trickster, originally from Bangkok, on charges of Car theft.
