On Friday night, a team of police under the supervision of Pol. Capt. Somchai Chaikananukook and Pol. Capt. Netitorn Rattanasunun – Deputy Suppression Inspectors, entered in a rented room located on Soi IT Center, after being informed that a large group of teenagers were planning drug parties on the 5th floor.

The police entered in the first room and found 8 teenagers, 7 males and 1 female ages 15 – 20 years, were partying with 49 Yah Bah tablets. The renter of the room, Mr. Wirut age 17, pled guilty to possession of all the Yah Bah tablets, as he had purchased them for resale.

Entering in the next room, The police found 5 teenagers, 4 males and 1 female age 15 – 20, having a Marijuana bash.  The room was full of smoke, and there was plenty of evidence, including a pack of Marijuana, a cutting board and a bong. Mr. Wee Boonyoung, age 16, had rented the room, and was the owner of the bong.

Entering the last room, The police found over 10 teenagers having a Yah Bah party as well.

All the teens were detained for further investigation, and most of them confessed to taking drugs and even being addicted. Most of them were not in school. The police ran Urine tests and which were all positive. The 24 teenagers were sent for legal proceedings.
