Hospital presents program to boost health and IQ in the womb
On Saturday morning, at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, Dr. Supagorn Winwan, Assistant Director of the hospital, introduced an outstanding program to help nurture healthy and clever children for the future of humankind in the belief that brain and nutritional development starts inside the mother’s womb.
Over 50 families and first-time pregnant women attended seminar conducted by child development experts. The essence of the program was to educate pregnant women about the world of the fetus, explaining that the fetus can feel the warm and love of the mother, but also anger and distress. Feeling at peace, maintaining proper nutrition and some additional development techniques could help give the fetus a boost in both IQ and EQ, or “emotional quotient.”
