On Thursday afternoon, at the Police Checkpoint set in Soi Thepprasit 5, a team of Pattaya Police including the Patrol Police and Police Volunteers arrested Mr. Tananchai Penchalee, aged 29, with 1 Yah Bah tablet found on him.

The offender was stopped for inspection at the checkpoint while he was driving a blue Honda Wave. He failed to produce any documents for this motorcycle. The police managed to entice him to confess that he was one of a group of thieves who stole many motorcycles and stripped them for spares. He then told Police other motorcycles were hidden in the bushes behind Big C - South Pattaya.

The police then asked him to lead them to the hiding place. The police surrounded the area and found his two accomplices who were stripping parts off a motorcycle. The police managed to arrest a Mr. Taweesak while his associate managed to get away. The police found Yah Bah tablets on him as well.

Further investigations will proceed to help the Police crackdown on motor cycle thieves as it is an ever increasing problem.
