96FM had a visit from an up-and-coming UK band that’s touring Southeast Asia for the next three months. GOOBER GUN is a commercial pop/rock outfit hoping to reach out with their music to a worldwide audience. They took time out from their busy concert schedule to perform an acoustic set in front of the Media Café, next door to the Pattaya People Media Group.

Their original songs were transmitted live on 96FM’s Morning Glory breakfast show. The 3-piece band, consisting of two brothers, Tim and Ian together with long time friend John, are performing in Pattaya this week at the Blues Factory on Tuesday evening and the Rolling Stone bar in Walking Street on Friday. It’s hoped that an extra date at the Holiday Inn on Saturday will round off the Thailand leg of the GOOBER GUN tour before they head out to Taiwan and Vietnam.
