On Wednesday morning, at Pattaya City Hall, a meeting was held to discuss the new assignment given to the City Hall by the Provincial Administration Office to be in accordance with the Thai Mental Health Act B.E. 2551 in which all relevant authorities were called to attend the meeting which was opened by the Deputy Mayor Weerawat Kahkai.
The meeting agenda focused on the problem with the homeless and those with mental problems wandering along the beaches, temples etc which can cause trouble and an create the appearance that no one cares and affect city’s reputation and the meeting tried to find the best solutions for this dilemma.
However, the discussions still have to be continued as there are many actions to be considered before the plans can be consolidated. The meeting agreed to continue in the near future.
