On Saturday evening Police were informed about the “Suicide” of a man in a house located in Burapa Villas 1, Soi Khao Noi, where a man had allegedly hung himself.

The police went to the scene and found a crowd had gathered around the house where they found a woman crying and holding the body of her husband.    He was identified as Mr. Gittipong Soponwasu, aged 27 and the neighbors informed the police that they helped untie the cable round his neck and lift his body to the floor.

The younger sister of the dead man’s wife stated that Mr. Gittipong owned a motorcycle repair garage located at the scene.

He had had problems with his landlord and there was also tension between him and his two wives that had caused money problems which had compounded his anxieties.  She believed that all these reasons that led him to commit suicide. His body was sent for examination to Banglamung hospital.
