On Saturday afternoon (15^th), at Central Festival Pattaya Beach Mall, the “To Be Number One Teen Dancercise, Thailand Championship 2011”  held a “Try Out Round” for the Eastern and Central Region.  Sponsored by the “To Be Number One” Community Service Project, the contest is seeking the finest dancers among children between 6 – 9 years old, to graduate to the next level of competition.

The contestants were required to come up with dance steps created specifically for exercising. Each team consisted of no less than 12 and no more than 20 members, and were divided into 3 Groups:  “Junior Group” ages 6 – 9 years, which had 6 teams, the “Pre - Teen” group ages 10 – 13, which had 11 teams, and “Teenage Group” ages 14 – 24, boasting 9 teams.  The winner of each group received a trophy from “Her Majesty Princess Ubonrat”, the oldest daughter of HM the King Bhumibol, and Prize Money to help with education.
