On Monday morning, at the brand new Pattaya City Hospital located in Soi Bua Khao, a Buddhist ceremony was conducted on the occasion of New Year Cerebration and blessings were given to all officials and Patients. Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum and the Deputy Mayor Weerawat Kahkai and Public Health Village Volunteers all participated in the ceremony.

The monks from “Chong Lom Temple” were invited to conduct the Buddhist ceremony before giving blessing prayers to the people and premises. The Pattaya City Hospital construction was started on March 19^th, 2009 with the approved budget of 177,080,000 Baht.  It is a 5 floor building with an activity ground on the side and the capacity is 82 beds. The building is nearly completed, and the next process to be completed will be the Budget Proposed for Purchasing of Medical Equipment which is estimated to cost over 200,000,000 Baht.
