On Wednesday afternoon at Nong Nooch Garden, the Community Tourist Network was introduced in the Seminar held by the “Special Area Developing Administration for Long Term Tourism” which the Deputy Prime Minister His Excellency Maj. Gen. Sanan Kajornprasart attended as an Honorable Guest to open the seminar and many representatives from relevant authorities attended.

 The Mayor Ittipol Khunpleum represented Pattaya City, Col. Dr. Naliga-a-ti-pak Saengsanit represented the “Special Area Developing Administration for Long Term Tourism”, the Chonburi Provincial Governor Mr. Wichit Chatpaisit and many people from the private sector attended  the seminar.

There are 33 communities linked in the network in which 15 communities were already listed as “Special Areas” and 18 communities are in process of being added to the list.

Tourism Development does not only create positivity and benefit , but there has been hidden side to this project as well, which is the unity and cooperation between people in the community and community  authorities which will certainly grow to be of benefit at a  nation level.
