On Saturday afternoon (22^nd) at Central Festival Pattaya Beach Mall, the Deputy Governor of Chonburi Mr. Pongsak Preechawit opened the “To Be Number One Idol Contest”. This is one of many activities supported by H.R.H. Princess Ubonrat Ratchaganya Siriwattana pannawadee in which the winners  of this campaign does not focus on showy talents as usual, but one for the good children who are loved by their friends who present themselves nicely in their environment and work hard at school and sports.

This contest was at the Regional level in which 46 Children represented 19 provinces in the Central and Eastern parts of Thailand.  4 boys and 4 girls who win will go forward to the National Contest in April 2011.
