Pattaya Police Station Visited by Justice and Police Committee
On Tuesday afternoon (1st), the Vice Chairman of the Justice and Police Committee, Pol. Lt. Gen. Pichai Soontornsatjaboon, and associates, visited the Pattaya Police Station to evaluate any problems or obstructions hampering their police work, and report these back to the Royal Thai Police Bureau.
The Superintendent of Pattaya Police, Pol. Col. Nantawut Suwanlaong, reported that the small budget and lack of police officers are a difficulty, as Pattaya’s population has outgrown the number of available officers. The problems were discussed in detail, and they will be reviewed by the Royal Thai Police Bureau to find solutions for these problems.
The Superintendent also had the opportunity to present the performance review of the SWAT team to the Commissioner, and for him to see the quality of the SWAT Team of Pattaya Police. The Commissioner was full of compliments for the SWAT Team, which was very well-prepared, and the Royal Thai Police Bureau will certainly hear about the excellent work of the Pattaya Police.
