On Sunday at 4 am., at a checkpoint on South Pattaya Road’s intersection with Sukhumvit Road, the Pattaya Police and Police Volunteers, directed by Suppression Inspector Pol. Lt. Col. Chote Lamom and Deputy Suppression Inspector Pol. Capt. Suradet Namyota, arrested Mr. Sittichai Promajan, aged 25 from Sattahip, and his girlfriend Miss Suwanna Rodsiri, aged 26, a cashier at a restaurant in Sattahip. The couple were stopped in a bronze Toyota Vios with 90 Yah Bah tablets divided into 3 bags, and 0.7 grams of Yah Ice, also placed into 3 bags.
Mr. Sittichai confessed to being a local drug dealer for a long time. He purchased the drugs from an agent, name unknown, in Sattahip, located on 10th Kilometer of Sukhumvit Road, locally called Kilo Sip. Mr. Sittichai would pay 160 Baht for the drugs, and sell them for profit, after separating 10 tabs for himself. He was sent for legal proceedings along with his girlfriend, and they will be questioned to help the police track down the rest of the gang.
