On Tuesday afternoon, a press conference was held by Pattaya Immigration Police to publicize the arrest of a British Fugitive for Child Molesting, Mr. Roderick William Robinson aged 73, who has been living in the kingdom without a VISA.
Robinson was arrested for Child Molesting on Valentine’s Day in 1998 in his hometown in England but he managed to run away to Australia until he committed the same crime again and got caught in January 1999, in Australia. This time, he bailed himself out and ran to New Zealand but he committed the same crime again and ran away and was finally arrested in Portugal in 2010.
The Portuguese government extradited Robinson back to Australia for trail. While waiting for the result of the Appeal Court, he decided to run away again and this time, to Pattaya.
The Thai Government and Interpol was contacted by SOCA (Serious Organized Crime Agency) to locate Robinson and the information that he was in Pattaya residing in Soi Bua Khao and this time, the Thai police will ensure that he will not have any chance to run away and he will eventually face trial and hopefully justice.
