On Friday afternoon at the Nova Park Hotel Pattaya, the CEO of the Pattaya People Group Mr. Niels Colov and  the CEO of the Nova Group Mr. Ronnie Fineman met to discuss the new community radio in Pattaya, Nova FM, which will be broadcasting in Thai on the frequency 87.5 Fm. The radio is a 50 – 50 venture between the PPMG and the Nova Group. The new station is expected to come on air at the end of April, and boasts the most sophisticated radio studio in Thailand. The station plans to operate 24 hours a day, providing music and information to the people of Pattaya.

The Manager of 96 Fm Mr. Danny Fobian and the Manager of 87.5 Fm Mr. Watchara Saentao also attended.  They came to gather ideas for this new community radio and to oversee the progress of the studio’s construction, located on 7th floor of the Nova Park Hotel Pattaya. The construction is 80% completed already.

More details will be discussed in the next meeting, especially the Grand Opening of the station.
