On Tuesday at 2:30 am, the Investigation Inspector of the Banglamung Police Station, Pol. Lt. Supawat Lattapreecha, was informed by Miss Jariya Anfa, aged 45, that 2 bullets had just been fired through one of her bedroom windows in Potong Apartments, located in Moo 11 of Nongprue. The police went to investigate, and found a glass window shattered by 2 bullet holes. Part of one of the bullets, about 1 centimeter long, was discovered stuck in the concrete wall by the window. Fortunately, there were no injuries involved.
Miss Jariya stated that she was a teacher at Khao Po Nursery School, and has no enemies. Just after 2 am, she was awakened by the sound of the 2 bullets being fired from the road, following by her window being broken. The police found the 2 bullets, one on a table and one the hallway. The neighbors believed that the bullets must have been shot by some teen gangs, as they have been out at night causing trouble for a long time. This time, the police felt alarmed by the random attack, and vow to do something to restore peace in the community.
