On Tuesday morning at Amari Orchid Pattaya, near the Dolphin Roundabout, North Pattaya, Thailand hosted the 2nd Asian Entertainment Venues Meeting. The conference, held from 21-22 February, 2011, saw eight countries attending, including a new member, the Philippines. These countries came to exchange knowledge and points of views regarding using sophisticated technologies in their trade, but preserving their countries’ beautiful traditions at the same time.

The reps from the 8 countries, including over 100 Thais from many fields, exchanged useful information and suggestions, including proposals for promoting entertainment venues, how to conduct an investment survey, and how to employ databases to find international links to funding sources, etc.

Thailand has received  much consideration from the other countries, which will help the tourism industry of Thailand this year, and even more in 2012. This conference also brought a great deal of baht into the pockets of Pattaya as well.
