On Monday morning at Lan Po Naklua Community Ground, thousands of people. including government officials, business operators, vendors and teenagers of Naklua and Pattaya participated in Buddhist Ceremony on the occasion of Songkran Day of Naklua area at which the Banglamung District Sheriff Mr. Mongkol Tamkittigul and the Pattaya City Mayor Ittipol Khunpluem led the people to conduct Food Offering Ceremony to the 99 invited monks and novices in the morning following by Buddhist image water sprinkling ceremony to ask for Buddha’s blessing and the Elderly Respect Showing Ceremony.
 
Later that morning was the time for the Buddha image to be moved along the roads for the people of Naklua to have opportunity to pray for blessings and protection led by the Banglamung District Sheriff Mr. Mongkol Tamkittigul and the Pattaya City Mayor Ittipol Khunpluem.
