A two day meeting for retail pharmacists, from 77 provinces, is being held at the Lek Villa Hotel Pattaya.  The meeting is reviewing the medicines approved by the Pharmaceutical Organization to the Pharmacists, which will be promoted in their respective provinces. Expert Pharmacist Wanicha Jaisamran, the Director of Natural Products Division, Dr Chada Pisanpong and Pharmaceutical Research Expert Wanida Jan-ta-ra-tep-te-wan instructed the attendees about the medications.

The course will cover new medicines, and the required medications for the local medical clinics.  The results, side effects, and procedures to prolong the potency of the medicines are being studied, especially the new uses of an Ancient Thai Herb called Khamin Chan, which has been accepted by modern pharmaceutical organizations to be a very effective herb. This herb can help in the treatment of many health problems, and can be manufactured in an easy to take capsule. Another newly introduced but ancient medicine called GPO Phytoplex, appears to help kill cancer cells, and will also be a new product to help patients.
