Even though the Budget of 500,000 Baht proposed to the Office of the Narcotics Control Board for Drugs Free Operation of the Tri-region Organization was declined and the budget given was only 90,000 baht, the Committee, led by the Chairman Mr. Niran Jui-wi-said still wishes to continue with the operation to help cleaning the cities of Pattaya and Sriracha from drug trafficking.
A meeting was held on Wednesday afternoon at Pattaya City Hall to report the budget received from the government which was only 90,000 Baht from proposed budget of which 40,000 baht has already been spent for holding meetings. The rest of budget will be spent on Strong Community Projects which will not be enough and the organization must seek additional budgetary support this project. It is in the step of seeking the supporting budget which the Pattaya Social Welfare Department and Public Health Department were contacted and the proposal is being considered by the 2 departments.
The first 2 community members for Strong Community Projects are Korpai and Gratinglai Communities which there are more communities that show their interest of being members especially Nong pang kae and Tamsamakkee Temple Communities. More details will be reported in the next meeting, if there’s enough money.
