New Civilian Volunteers

Pattaya School NO 7, located on Sukhumvit Road near Soi Chaiyapruk, saw the final day of the Civilian Volunteer Training Program on Friday afternoon. The course was started on May 2nd, 2011. After the last training session, a Grand Closing was held to finish the course, and send the trainees out to serve the communities. New Civilian Volunteers as called in Thai as Or. Por. Bpor. Ror. received certificates from Deputy Mayor Ronnagit Ekasing, with many guests as witnesses, including the Deputy Minister of Public Health Mr. Sansak Ngam-pi-chaid and a candidate for the local MP election in Chonburi, Mrs. Sugumon Khunpluem.

The civilian volunteers are trained to assist officers and officials in all situations, especially with accidents, disasters and community services. This is a great help to the communities and tourists alike, and many of the volunteers find a great deal of satisfaction by helping out their fellow man.
