The Deputy Minister of Commerce Mr. Alongkorn Pollaboot hosted the Grand Opening of Pattaya’s International Fashion Week Spring Summer Collection, on Friday at Central Festival Pattaya Beach Mall. Mayor Ittipon Khunpluem, along with many sponsors and business operators participated in the Grand Opening, including the CEO of the Pattaya People Media Group Mr. Niels Colov. This show was started by Mayor Ittipon, representing Pattaya City Hall, and the Department of Commerce, represented by the Love the Country Management Group. These sponsors have a vision, to upgrade the awareness of the fashion field for students, and combine that with a world class tourist attraction like Pattaya.  Fashion week was very successful in 2010, establishing a World’s Record 1.6 kilometer Catwalk. The Spring Summer extravaganza will be on through Sunday, May 15th, with over 20 fashion brands on display. The fashion shows will also grace a long catwalk,  and hope to score another 2011 World Record.
