Last weekend Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May15th, The Bowling Green on Soi X-Zyte held the Kevin Drumm Memorial Lawn Bowls Tournament. Kevin was a regular bowler at the Bowling Green who tragically drowned 2 years ago whilst swimming at nearby Koh Larn.

There was a good turnout for the match with the weather being kind considering the tournament required players to be out in the sun for a long time.

Saturday fixtures were qualifying matches to see who would make the finals day on Sunday.

The quality of bowls was good with matches going to the last end to decide eventual winners.

The final was played with impressive bowling by all concerned, but congratulations go to Banksie’s team who eventually won by 22-13
